I have an induction cooktop so I'm always looking for good induction compatible cookware. I bought this about a month ago and had used it only once prior today. When I got it out of the cabinet I noticed a chip on the handle. I have no idea how that got there but I have used it, and I no longer have a receipt. I cooked with it today and while I was washing it, warm water, Dawn detergent - I saw a small crack appear in the enamel near the top of the pot. I have used this pot TWICE. I am so disappointed because there is nothing I can do about it. I would try to return it but without a receipt I'm sure I'm out of luck. I have a few pieces of cookware by Mepra, and I was not disappointed in this medium size soup and casserole pot. First off, my other soup pots are quite large whereas this one is the perfect size for cooking for two or even one. It’s extremely well made with a sturdy lid which fits tight and nice large handles for easing carrying. It distributes the heat evenly, and clean up is a breeze with the non-stick surface.
