Very pretty. The lamp doesn't function with a 3 way bulb despite a rotary switch. The lamp itself is very sturdy, but the electrical components a bit cheap. I ordered two and one would function with a 3 way bulb, the other wouldn't. The one they sent to replace it had a different base, the next one sent was the same as the first and also wouldn't function with 3 way bulb. Bottom line, don't plan on using it with a 3 way bulb!.
