The Jardin cabinet was created in the tradition of repoussage — a painstaking and laborious process that involves creating low-relief panels with raised motifs onto which thin brass sheets are hammered to reveal the visual richness underneath. In this case, the doors and frame are made of reclaimed teak, finished in walm walnut. The metalwork is rendered in an antique brass finish. This is a tall cabinet, standing 38.5 inches high.
A stunning cabinet that was damaged upon delivery by the careless delivery drivers. It was finely packaged by the manufacturer, but the delivery people they use are careless and rude. I have reached out to Perigold in hopes for a resolution.. Charles. CA. Tue Sep 09 2025
