Effervescence Blanc de Chine was handcrafted in Nepal with the finest wool and silk under our strict environmental and social practices. Effervescence is a beloved carpet designed by world-renowned designer Barbara Barry, rich with movement and optimism. Our premium Shakti weave was used in this design with both cut and uncut loops which give the carpet ample depth and texture, the average pile height is about 0.28 inches. The background of Effervescence Blanc de Chine is a warm grey of uncut loop pile which is layered with pale blue circles and golden beige silk accents.

Barbara Barry imagined the effusive botanically inspired Effervescence. A carpet is rich with movement and optimism, handcrafted in the finest Himalayan wool and silk.

This rug is antistatic, sound absorbing, comfortable and suitable for underfloor heating. It is produced with the finest natural materials and is an enrichment for every interior!

I love my rug but giving it 3 stars because the black leaves are impossible to clean. They pick up lint, hair, etc. and almost impossible to vacuum out. I actually used a lint roller last week to try to clean but within minutes I had a huge pile of lint on the leaves. It’s a gorgeous rug and an awesome concept but not very practical.. Ashley.
