A well-made, understated rug appropriate in many settings, especially masculine and/or MCM rooms. It has a nice loft and a soft hand. At the time I purchased it was described as made of wool and silk. That is wrong. It is made of wool and "silkette"- the maker's trademarked viscose fiber (derived from bamboo). As a collector of rugs, I never purchase rugs with viscose fibers, and the error was a major disappointment.
Note to manufacturer: The length is ten feet exactly and I feel a few extra inches would increase the charm of the rug a great deal. It's very easy for things to line up too perfectly at that length. And sure enough, the rug and hallway wall end at exactly ten feet. The colors and texture of the rug are captured accurately in the photos (on my monitor, certainly).. Rkp. Sfla. Thu Apr 09 2026
