Now accurately translated into a wide-width wallpaper, surflex printing retains the design’s original scale.

A classic Sanderson floral from the talented hand of Kenneth Truman, produced for the first time as a wallpaper. Truman joined Sanderson in 1939 bringing an astonishing aptitude for botanical drawing. He influenced the look and quality of floral artwork created at Sanderson’s Uxbridge studio for more than three decades.

Standing Ovation - Floreale. A painterly, floral wallpaper that elegantly boasts motifs of overblown peonies, foxgloves, and foliage in joyful colorways.

In contrast to its blousy Victorian contemporaries, the Chinese-inspired decorative style of this 1920s Jeffrey & Co. archive design is adorned with large peonies and tropical butterflies. A wide-width wallpaper, its opaque detail pays homage to the block-printed original, elevated even further by the addition of subtle metallic highlights.

Taken from an original block print design in our archive this classic floral chintz is a fine example of the beautiful and abundant representations of flowers from the early twentieth century. Bursts of bouquets come to life in this trailing design featuring roses and little rosebuds iris carnations and poppies as well as cyclamen and pansies. A quintessential Sanderson floral Lakeland Paradis has been beautifully recolored with a sense of depth and shadow in the flower petals and leaves contrasting the strong grounds on which they feature. Vivid pigments in crimson steely blues and plaster blush accent each bushel of blooms.
