My order arrived – yes. Opened it today as a Christmas present for my wife. Very lovely.
BUT the design engineering is HORRIBLE, i.e. very poorly thought out.
- There is no provision for attaching the cat’s foot to the pole except for a useless groove so he just slides around and falls!
- There is no provision for anchoring the cat’s feet so again they just slide and he falls.
- The round base is disproportionately small and very poorly weighted.
As I said: the design engineering is HORRIBLE, i.e. very poorly thought out.
- The base should be an irregular kidney shape large enough that it extends to behind the cat’s feet that are ‘on the ground’.
- The cat’s feet should have a hole for a like colored set screw to attach to properly extended base and to the pole and that should be included.
I will have to do all the things I said to ensure the stability of YOUR product.
And lastly, your website said that these were made in the US and the box clearly says: ‘Made in China’. As an American, buying Chinese products is the same thing as committing suicide. The Chinese want to destroy the United States and you are aiding and abetting them.
Normally upon seeing ‘Made in China’ I would not have bought it. Or I would simply return it but my wife really likes it.
Please advise as to how you will recompense me. I do not want to post a negative review.
