I searched for about a year for the perfect fireplace for our living room. Size and color was a huge deciding factor for me. This fireplace is gorgeous. This a great piece. We purchased two for our restaurant. Here are some aspects to be aware: 1) it is flat-packed and requires assembly. The assembly isn't difficult, but will take come time and require some tools. 2) The electrical cord is on the right side when facing the unit. This means the outlet must be directly behind the unit or to the right side of the unit. This was a surprise to us. It would be better if the cord could be relocated to either side of the insert.
