The 56" Cassina writing desk is a classic midcentury modern design, drawing from architectural and automotive elements of the 1950s. The piece is crafted from figured walnut in a rich walnut finish, with hardware and metal ferrules on the legs in a brushed champagne finish. There are storage drawers on the left and right.

This is a lovely, solid desk. The drawer glides are nice and smooth. The drawers themselves are pretty shallow (vertically), so just be aware. I can still fit many essentials in them, and they have to be shallow to accommodate room for your legs underneath.
