Nantucket Sinks’ Pro Series Prep-Station stainless steel sink is an expansion to our extremely popular Prep Station offerings.  A larger bowl with small radius corner is designed to serve your needs for all  kitchen tasks. This sink is designed with three different tiered levels at its edges which allows kitchen tasks to be completed at the optimal height with the most efficiency.  Four functional accessories fit on the edges of the tiered levels to customize the workspace to the specific use and their task. The sink’s stainless steel rolling mat provides a functional drying surface which is easy to clean, and easily stored away.  Air-dry dishes or produce directly over the sink. The mat fits securely over the sink for space-saving convenience. Silicone edges protect surfaces. This kitchen sink comes with an included grid and drain. Finished in a matte glaze that mimics the effect of concrete. It has ombré variations of gray. It also has a side set drain that allows for more unobstructed under-cabinet space. A large single-bowl design, slopes, and tapers to the bottom of the basin. The compatible bottom grid is included and the drain can be placed to either side - so you get the most function out of your sink! The grid will help to protect against chipping from any dropped pots or pans with its soft feet and bumpers, while also letting the water run below dishes to the drain. The top edge of the sink is glazed so it can be top-mounted as well as under-mounted. Fireclay is an eco-friendly natural material. The large single basin will help to maximize space and accommodate even the largest kitchen and bakeware with no problem. A note about fireclay sinks: Due to the curing process, small surface cracks typically appear on the underside of the sink. These cosmetic flaws are from the molding process and do not affect the performance or visible luster of the sink.

With benefits long known to design professionals, this sink is 80% granite which helps it to be both resistant to stains and scratches. The nonporous surface is hygienic and helps to ward off microbes. Because of its material composition, it can withstand thermal shocks and temperatures up to 560 degrees Fahrenheit. Granite is naturally sound-absorbing for a quieter kitchen. Because the drain is placed at the center back of the sink you have more unobstructed under cabinet space and basin surface area up top!
