Just to be clear, I did not request a replacement weathervane and I did not receive one. I called Wayfair because I could not see assembly instructions or screws through the clear plastic which enclosed the pieces of the weathervane. I did not want to open the packaging in case I needed to return the item. After a short hold, I was advised that the missing items would be sent to me. I did send a photo of the unwrapped item, as requested. The next day I opened the packaging and realized that assembly of the product was actually very simple, using the picture on the website as a guide, and the only screws required were the 6 screws to attach the weathervane to the cupola, which I purchased at a local hardware store. The attachment piece was not suitable for my cupola, so a friend was able to fabricate it to fit. I am very pleased with the way the project turned out. My only suggestion would be for the supplier to include a simple 1 page print-out or a pdf on-line for assembly in the product description, as well as a note indicating that attachment screws are not included..
