Inspired by the refined patterning of neoclassical settings, Stone Lace is composed of a repeating lattice softened by subtle shifts in line. Its structure is precise but not rigid, giving the pattern the feel of something inlaid or woven rather than printed.
The wallpaper itself is excellent quality. Thick, beautiful sheen, consistent color. My one complaint is that the ends of the rolls were not cut to make the pattern repeat from roll to roll. This meant that every single strip had to be overlapped on top of the preceding strip to make the pattern align. My past experience with wallpaper is that the rolls are cut so that the pattern repeat is in place with each strip you lay. You only need to align each strip vertically against the previous strip to make it match, no overlapping is needed. This added hours to my project and was very disappointing.. Elizabeth.
