A flame veneered and mahogany bombé bedside chest of drawers, the rectangular molded edge top above a brushing slide with three shaped serpentines and graduated drawers below, applied with finely cast brass escutcheons and drop handles, on a plinth base with ogee bracket feet. The original George III, circa 1770, was in the manner of Thomas Chippendale.
