Artist Commentary: This is an impressionist style painting of a young girl and goat in a field. The original work is in oil on canvas stretched over a wooden frame.

Artist Commentary: Watching waves, hiking, traveling, being out on a boat with friends, painting....all these activities put me in a free spirit kind of mood. As I was observing this wave, it built up very slowly and seemed to be doing its own thing and I remember thinking 'we've got a free spirit in this wave.' But then, instead of going completely rogue, it rolled into itself and crashed, as waves tend to do.
