This traditional desk features nine full-extension drawers. The left and right pedestals feature three storage drawers and one file drawer for letter or legal files. The center drawer is a drop-front for comfortable use with a keyboard. There is also a lower shelf in the center.

It features a mildly distressed brown leather top with gold tooling, swirly crotch mahogany panels on the front, sides and drawer fronts, dovetailed drawers, solid brass hardware, intricate fretwork on the corners with carved medallions, two file drawers, and a hand steel wool rubbed satin finish. With antique characteristics, this luxurious desk would more than adequately complement any study room.

The quality of the materials and the finish were excellent, the craftmanship was a bit off in places. In the attached photo, there was no way to close the gap in the bottom left while keeping the section level. Also, the knee clearance is not up to ADA standards. The ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Standards for Accessible Design specifies a minimum of 27" knee clearance, this desk only has 24".. Anonymous. Wed Mar 25 2026
