When we decided to revive this extraordinary pattern from our archive, we took it to one of the oldest family mills in Europe to get it right. With its fanciful flora and fauna rendered in a fine damask weave, Animali has gorgeous dimensions and a subtle sheen. Its unique hammered finish makes this fabric especially wonderful for window treatments.

Intricately embroidered wild berries, sloes, and blossom trail across this woodland-inspired design. Fine viscose thread adds a dew-like shimmer to a forager’s harvest, stitched on a blend of cotton/linen.

An iconic Zoffany archive design interpreted as an embroidery Oiseaux de Paradis displays a plethora of stylized bird leaves and flowers perched amongst a damask-like trellis. Exquisite embroidery techniques combine to give depth and relief to this fabulously soft Jacobean-inspired fabric.
