BEST PAN EVER!! I hardly ever have time for writing reviews, however this is one I HAD to write about. After 3-4 purchases of the gold pans, that lasted for only 6-9 months, I finally found Le Creuset Frying Pan. It's worth every penny. So if you're hesitant on spending the money... it's worth every penny. Quality is key. If you spend cheap, you get cheap. Wish I found Le Creuset months ago. Great piece of cookware. Brown meats and deglaze with sautéing your vegetables- great flavor for better meals. It is not cheap, but invest in good cookware! Staub has never disappointed me. This skillet is a bit deeper than others, that I have. Cuts down on the spatter and holds a larger volume of food.
