The spectacular rows of plane trees lining "the most beautiful avenue of the world" inspired the design of the finely engraved crystal leaves that adorn the Champs-Elysées bowl, designed by Marc Lalique in 1951. This sculpture of light and crystal captures the very essence of Paris.

In 1927, René Lalique’s boundless imagination and creative genius lead to the creation of the Bacchantes vase. The iconic design features the young priestesses of Bacchus with their voluptuous beauty and curves. A work of unparallel beauty, the splendor, and sensuality of the vase continue to leave admirers spellbound. Since its original release, it has been a staple in the Lalique collection and has become a lasting symbol of Lalique’s celebrated style.

The iconic theme of the rose, often revisited by Daum since the 1900s, is once again featured in the Rose Passion collection. This year, Daum has created four new vases in vibrant hues, elevated by touches of gold, along with a full collection of crystal rose decorative objects in white, green, ultraviolet, red, orange, black, and powder pink. These pieces-the products of true technical mastery by the Daum atelier-celebrate a world of beauty and poetry.

Among flowers, the anemone, a symbol of purity and innocence, particularly inspired René Lalique, which then made the centerpiece of many jewels and decorative objects. In 1912, he designed a vase displaying a motif of an anemone in blue patinated glass, fashioned in "cire perdue". With the Anemone collection, Lalique gives a fresh insight into this creation transfigured to vases available in several sizes and colors, bowls, perfume bottles, and votives. Fashioned in satin-finished and re-polished crystal, emblematic of Lalique, the flowers are juxtaposed in a graphics play on repetition, capturing the ephemeral beauty of flowers.

This vase is a testament to exquisite craftsmanship, blending artistry with functionality. Handcrafted from fine crystal, it boasts a stunning design that complements any decor style.

This was a gift for my husband for Father's Day. It is beautiful. The size is larger than I expected although I knew the dimensions when I ordered it. It looks beautiful on our book shelf sitting on a book.. Katherine. Bakersfield, CA. Wed Jun 29 2022
