In 1995, a decanter is added to the range, with a very original shape and crystal owl stopper. Evoking the antique "bas-reliefs" style, the owl motif in satin-finished crystal set against a contrasting shimmering background of swirling crystal waves, curves around each glass and decanter. A truly technical masterpiece, the intricate frieze, worked in relief gives these creations great depth not seen in such work before, and demonstrates once again the tremendous savoir-faire of the Lalique glass-makers.

The savoir-faire of lacquering wood is a thousand-year-old tradition in Asia. In Vietnam, Lalique met exceptional craftsmen who keep this heritage alive. With amazing talent and expertise, they fashion these boxes, trays, and frames in carved wood coated with fifteen layers of lacquer. A satin-finished crystal motif, produced in the Lalique Manufacture located in France, highlights each design. The encounter of these two know-hows - that of lacquer and that of crystal - gives birth to unique creations.

Symbol of prosperity, beauty, and honor, the peony is an emblematic flower, especially in China where it is often depicted. As if carved in the gouge of a rock garlands of flowers take possession of crystal, like luxuriant nature takes its rightful place over abandoned constructions. Their modeling also evokes the process of Lost Wax sculpture, when the craftsman breaks the plaster mold to reveal the piece.

A significant factor of Russian culture, the bear appears in many Russian literary works, folklore, sayings, and popular culture. Although this powerful and fearless animal is commonly considered dangerous, Russians affectionately see the bear as playful, good-natured, strong, and protective. In 2018, he is associated with Bull, these two animals symbolize together the stock markets. For its part, the bull represents the one who speculates, believes in the growth of the market, and buys. On the contrary, the bear embodies the one who believes in the decline of the market and seeks to sell his titles. It is the balance of the bull and the bear in a perpetual confrontation that symbolizes the balance of the markets.
