desk is beautiful but the drawer bay arrived damaged and I reported to perigold immediately and uploaded a picture and have still not heard or had any efforts to correct/replace the damaged desk. the drawer allignment is also off and rubs along the bottom and will damage the desk.. It features a mildly distressed brown leather top with gold tooling, swirly crotch mahogany panels on the front, sides and drawer fronts, dovetailed drawers, solid brass hardware, intricate fretwork on the corners with carved medallions, two file drawers, and a hand steel wool rubbed finish.
