The Seattle central library redefined the perception of libraries – long cast as institutions where the purpose is foremost and aesthetic is an afterthought. The bathtub, too, celebrates the design of the bathtub as an art piece in itself. The bathtub's sleek angles recall the shape of a gemstone while creating depth for optimal relaxation. Inspired by the library’s high-art approach, we asked ourselves – what better place to read a masterpiece than in a masterpiece?

The arched lines created by the golden gate bridge’s suspension cables guide hyde’s form. The result is a seamless curved shape that elevates an art deco style with commanding sleekness. The hyde is the perfect place to capture serenity, much like the view which surrounds the famous landmark. The year 1937 has been immortalized in San Francisco's history as the birth year of the golden gate bridge. A striving engineer and poet named Joseph Strauss designed the art deco 1.7-mile-long railroad bridge which opens up the san Francisco bay into the pacific ocean. This striking red masterpiece of engineering and connectivity has become one of the most worldwide recognized symbols of San Francisco, California, and the united states.

Beautiful looking, installed without issues by professional plumber. Love that the pipes are concealed by the tub skirt on the back side, but it does require some finesse to install.
