The soft curves of fixture’s fabric shade with its navy blue pinstripes are the first thing you’ll notice. Its plate glass diffuser and knob-like finial, its mirroring canopy, are all things that become apparent with lingering consideration. fixture has a lovely light diffusion and looks great from every angle.

In the early 1920s, exposed-bulb light fixtures were jettisoned in favor of opaque glass globes that disguised the light source.
