Breathing new life into an archive piece adds glamour to geometric Eastern patterns through the soft pearlescent metallic textured backdrop and highlights of metallic detailing. A Japanese form of decorative reinforcement stitching popularly inspired this wallpaper roll during the Edo era, creating a strong geometric design.
My hubby and I really like the wallpaper! (Although I was hesitant to put up paper after spending years of tearing old paper down).
But it was worth it…the paper is very nice, heavy quality, easy to worth with, and simple pattern match. Previously, I had a piece of art in that area, but moved it to another room; it was just too busy with the wallpaper as a backdrop. I think a piece of more contemporary art would look good, or plain, as the paper itself IS like art.. Suzanne. MI. Sun Feb 04 2024
