The Deauville desk lamp was created by Suzanne Duin, who founded the Houston shop and design studio Maison Maison and is known for a keen eye for sourcing authentic French antiques and home accessories from around the globe. Each piece in her line of woven light fixtures is handmade by artisans in Southeast Asia; the Deauville is an example in natural seagrass and steel in a polished brass finish. This tailored desk lamp will bring both texture and French flair.

The table lamp features a rounded, aged rattan base finished with a warm honey stain, accentuated with plated antique brass finishes. The tapered round hardback shade is a crisp white linen fabric.

The table lamp looks as if it is made of one material in three distinctive finishes, but the base is made of wood while the other elements are made of wrought iron and brass in antique brass and gold finishes. The shape of the oval shade with its painted trim is a design detail worth noting.
