These placemats are just gorgeous with my Vietri dinnerware in gold, green and ivory. They work well with my dark green Franciscan Ware pottery, retro the ‘60s. They have enough weight to hold their own, which cotton mats made India don’t always have. They are a bit expensive, but I’ve been looking for years for compatible placemats so these are well worth it to me. And that the set includes 6 mats rather than the usual 4 is so smart.
