Designed by Barbara Barry, Tempo is one of our most popular and enduring designs. This rug infuses any setting with subtle luxury, movement, and sheen in a striking colorway. Tempo Vanilla was hand-knotted in Nepal under our Care and Fair Nepal program which ensures the highest level of social and environmental responsibility in our production process. This rug is made of 60% silk in elegant caramel color and wool in a light beige.

The exclamation model is the latest in Andrée Putman's collections, coming out of Indian workshops in 2003. Today, the same weavers produce this model with putmanian simplicity and rigor! Soft, half-toned tones and a deceptively simple composition. As always, a small detail, in this case, the change of hue at the edge, adds sophistication to this design classic. Hand-tufted in India.

It is as an artist that Pascale Risbourg creates in her Brussels workshop her patterns which will become panoramic wallpapers or, as here, magnificent carpets. In the subtle play of reliefs and shadows or in the tangle of rounded shapes, the line is secure and the effect is guaranteed. The collage plays with layering and finishing games for an immaculate carpet that reads like a rich design. Hand-tufted in India.

I wish I could give this rug zero stars. This review does not reflect Perigold, it is the company Exquisite rugs. They sent me an absolutely filthy rug that is falling apart. It’s clearly a floor model. Stay AWAY from them. I called Exquisite Rugs directly and they informed me that I’d have to deal with Perigold.
