The pendant is the latest addition to the elegant Solis suspension family. Featuring a uniquely engaging blend of light and shadow, the Solis Drum is made of laser-cut polyester fabric combined with an aluminum top and bottom ring construction that allows the shade to hang under tension. Solis Drum also employs a stunning LED dome diffusor that spans across the full diameter of the top ring, radiating light down and sideways to cast shimmering warm patterns onto the space that surrounds it. The effect is a sense of weightlessness that invites a new kind of relationship with the light source. Perfect over a dining table, an entryway, or in large groupings.

Like a magnetic field surrounding the central lantern, almost 100 strips of upholstered banding are made to create each of these pendants. the bands are made of a super pliable material and simple beige cotton, the lantern is from white cotton, and the fixture suspends from a stainless steel stem finished in warm antique brass. The filtered light comes from a single bulb, casting a wonderful glow and soft, linear shadows. additional pipe available (pipe-101).

This unique pendant is made by multiple congruent strips of French Velvet covering a central cylindrical diffuser that conceals the light source. Made in Spain by expert artisans and of the highest quality materials, this piece will add a touch of elegance and sophistication to any space.

The 1st Baron Bourchier was born several hundred years too late to enjoy hanging NUT throughout his shadowy castle. Which is a pity, because the granny knot on which NUT is based sat proudly on the heraldic badge of the Bourchier family. We however are fortunate to live in an era when NUT can adorn our own little castles; a powerful symbol of our exquisite breeding.
