The craftsmanship and artistry of ancient earthenware techniques used by Japanese artists transcend into modern, functional art. The sculptural foundation of the Harleen is composed of white rice stone composite, which is interlocked with a contrasting graphite rice stone accent. The exaggerated U-shaped cutout in the center allows for light and shadows to uniquely play off its negative space.
