The blue adaptation of a classic Indian chintz resembles linen printed fabric with exotic floral and fauna. Catherine of Braganza, queen of King Charles II of England, brought Portuguese trade routes to the British East India Company, spurring fascination with such Asian goods and fabrics. As part of the WILLIAMSBURG collection, Branganza is a bold and colorful pattern that is produced on lighting and accessories. Braganza features rich, blue highlights. The jar features whimsical animals and florals for unexpected fun. If you would like to add a stand, we suggest a 10" diameter or greater for your stand choice. Our stands are available in multiple sizes in lucite under the products tab.

Damask, a luxurious fabric, traces its origins to ancient China and gained prominence through its association with Damascus, Syria, a hub for silk trading and weaving during the Middle Ages. Renowned for its intricate patterns woven into the fabric itself, rather than printed, damask embodies elegance and timeless craftsmanship. The original damask from which we drew inspiration is found in the Colonial Williamsburg archives. It was a swatch from a fabric decorator sampler book dating back to the mid-1800's. The Richmond Damask collection takes further inspiration in the color palette found in Colonial Williamsburg.

Inspired by woven basketwork, the Lamerie pattern is part of the Colonial Williamsburg collection of a silver fruit baskets made in London in the 1740s. We interpreted the lattice pattern into a burnished gold lattice stamp on our royal blue crackled porcelain vase.
