Since I have purchased Waterford crystal in the past for my wife, I thought this would be a good purchase. Well... the frame itself is truly beautiful, but... opening the hinged door on the back of the frame to insert a 4x6 photo was an exercise in aggravation and extreme frustration. Why... the door simply would not open no matter how hard I pulled on the fabric pull tab - and yes, the two metal swing-tabs (one shown in the photo on the right-hand side) were in their proper positions to open the back. After a significant amount of time tugging on the pull tab - to absolutely no avail, I finally realized that only a thin metal tool to "pry" the door open would work. Finally, I was able to open the hinged door! Frankly, this is unacceptable in a frame this size that costs $75. Otherwise, it is a beautiful frame, but in my case, changing the photo will be a major challenge. Maybe I just received a bad one, as the other reviews have been very positive.

Beautiful picture frame. It was also packaged in an elegant blue box. I was able to take it directly to an event and give it as a present without even wrapping it. It also arrived early, which was probably luck, but made me very happy.
