This is a lovely, 100% wool rug with a faint natural sheen to the surface. Depending on which side you view the carpet from, it has a “darker” or “lighter”appearance. Contrary to the description, the pile is entirely one height. This is a classic, traditional rug in a very unusual colorway - not for everyone, but in the right setting, it’s a stunner. It came rolled and folded, so we’ll have to see how much the wrinkles relax on their own.
