This is a lovely, 100% wool rug with a faint natural sheen to the surface. Depending on which side you view the carpet from, it has a “darker” or “lighter”appearance. Contrary to the description, the pile is entirely one height. This is a classic, traditional rug in a very unusual colorway - not for everyone, but in the right setting, it’s a stunner. It came rolled and folded, so we’ll have to see how much the wrinkles relax on their own. Otherwise I’ll be in touch with the Bokara people directly, who are extremely accommodating, to see how I might accelerate the process.
