These are pricey, but I believe they were worth it. They are gorgeous and look expensive. I installed about 6 along a ladder style stairs that reach up to a loft area. I love the soft light that emanates from them. And I love they are dimmable! I want to leave these on all the time because they look so cool! They do significant room inside the wall to recess each light so be sure to check measurements if you might not have enough space to accommodate. Landscape 1" recessed inground luminaire for soft ground application

We retrofitted these lights along our front walkway (see photos). They look great and are very bright. However, they gave our electrician fits. One problem is that the 15" pvc pipe (see photo) included with the fixture isn't practical. There are no holes to insert the line voltage wire into the pipe unless you run the wire 15" deep in the ground and then feed it up the pipe. Also, if installing for the first time, we would not trust this flimsy pvc to keep the bollard level for the long term. Fortunately, we had a creative electrical team that eventually figured out how to retrofit our existing connection (using additional materials) to the new bollards. They look great and we're glad we bought them--because we wanted the entire "family" of lights to match, and we also used wall and post lights from the Shelter family--but we would have had to return them if our electrician hadn't been such a problem solver..
