While the high firing temperature and quality of their glazed and terra cotta containers result in a durable and frost-resistant product, they still recommend that they are stored in a frost-free covered area in winter. If left outside, water may accumulate in the container and freeze, causing the planter to crack and break. Planters that must be left outside should be covered to prevent water, snow, and ice from accumulating inside the planter.

This product is hand-made by skilled artisans. Glazes are hand-applied and then high-fired for a product that is both beautiful and durable. Glazes can vary in colors and patterns depending on how they were applied and their position in the kiln, making each piece unique to itself. This product must be protected from freezing.

I love the pot; it’ll be perfect with the rest. But one bad thing….why was it packed in that styrofoam (?) I understand that fragile piece but they don’t use styrofoam anymore as it can’t be recycled! Maybe try another material that wouldn’t make me feel so badly dumping all that into a landfill (?). Gardening is made easy with this DIY hanging vertical growing system. Take a blank wall and bring it to life with vibrant color and fresh vegetables! This three-tier unit offers a total of 18 sq ft of growing space! Our units use non-treated Ceder wood which is naturally rot resistant. Each unit is fitted with a drip line to direct water down through the tiers, the bottom drip line can be angled to direct the water runoff away from walls so no staining or wash marks occur. Each tier is lined with a BPA-free liner to help direct water to the drip lines as well as keep the soil from falling through the wooden slabs. Each hanging unit uses three hooked frames to allow the unit to evenly suspend from walls and fences.

Campania proudly manufactures its cast stone products using locally sourced materials. All of our cast stone pieces are manufactured using the wet casting technique with a proprietary high-density cast stone mix, yielding a PSI strength of approximately 7,500. The mix is comprised primarily of water, sand, stone aggregate, and cement. Cast stone produces a strong and durable product that will weather naturally in an outdoor environment.

This pot planter is high fired centigrade to ensure frost resistance and durability. Due to the processes used in the manufacturing of their hand-made and hand-glazed containers, all variations with respect to firing, and crackling are natural occurrences in the manufacturing process. The glazes on their containers consist of natural, not chemical, components and therefore the final color of the product will vary. This process creates the unique beauty of each piece.
