I love the look of this small outdoor light. However, I didn't realize that the bottom of the fixture is open. This would become filled with bugs and webs within a month in our southern climate. I ended up cutting and installing two layers of screen repair mesh over the bottom opening in an attempt to limit the ingress of the bugs while still allowing some access and any needed "breathing" for the fixture. I did use an LED bulb, so heat buildup should not be too big of a concern.

The color of the lantern was a perfect color for our brick and trim.

We love our new porch light and were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail. The window panels were cushioned by rubber and the seeded glass looks great. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for nice porch light!

We are building...this light is gorgeous, easy to add bulb to, because it’s 12”, it will be going outside our walk out basement door. I’ve held it up, and it looks perfect there. When it’s installed, ill see if I can add a picture! I got black, and I love it!
