This is a gorgeous lamp that is beautifully proportioned. The picture gives a very good representation only the color was even more vibrant in real life. It’s a perfect nightstand light because it is compact and the top part of the shade is covered so you don’t look down into the light bulb and fixture. The lamp works from every angle. The one minus might be that the dimmer switch on the electrical cord is boxy and disproportionately large. I will likely take it to a store and have it changed with a different switch.. Hester.
