I recently purchased this lamp. I was disappointed upon opening the box. The “glass” is plastic & the base isn’t weighted. It looks nice but further inspection proves otherwise. It is certainly not worth the $800+ price tag (was this price a typo or a mistake of some kind?)

Love the lamp. It's beautiful and fits exactly where I needed some light. Well made and colors are very nice.

Gift for y daughter who is building a Craftsman style home. She adored it and wanted to know where she could find more!

Beautiful lamp purchased specifically for a particular console table that is not very deep. This lamp fits perfect and looks quite lovely on the table. However well it fits and as beautiful the lampshade is made ,the base is so light weight as to give the lamp a "cheap heft" when it's lifted. This lamp is NOT cheap, and although the base is not the awful resin bases that many lamps now have (there is NO ROOM in my home for a lamp with a resin base) I felt the lampbase should have been of a more weighty metal considering the ($300.00 plus) price tag.
