Calypso is a collection of suspension lights inspired by the art deco period, with fabrics whose textures and geometric patterns in black and white mixed with bright colors inspired by the South American and tropical culture, proving a very original result. The indoor version is characterized by a green braided silk cord. The support is a satin brass ring. The diffuser is in transparent glass.

FL/Y is an essentially-styled suspension lamp. The particular transparency of the material and the sheen of the colors recreate the idea of a soap bubble, shimmering iridescently in the light. The shade is not perfectly hemispherical, with the cut-off falling just below the level of the diameter, offering a greater concentration of light.

I have used this piece before a few times. The design is simply beautiful, the quality is sublime. Using a pin, each wooden strip is clipped onto the circular frame—insert a light bulb, and you will have created an elegant, handmade lamp. Attractive, but some disappointments: 1. Label states 4 60 bulbs is max, not 100w. I guess 4x100w was too good to be true. 2. No instructions. I am not a handy person so I'm struggling and will probably have to call in paid help. 3. It seems like the screws to connect to the electrical box in the ceiling are 3" wide in the ceiling but 4" wide on this fixture. Am hoping there's a workaround, but I don't know and I don't remember reading this in the tech specs, although it could be there. On the upside, the product was packed extremely well for shipping..
