Beautiful lamp but it came with many scratches on the brass and a black mark from having the tag stuck to it. For that price on a lamp I would expect them to take better care of it. Also the box was damaged and just left outside of our building.. Andrew. Chicago, IL. Tue Jan 15 2019

Laura Kirar’s playfully theatrical natural lampakanay woven palm forms – as seen with the Mar floor lamp and mar pendant chandelier - call to mind the classic era of the 1930s in the coastal south of France. Kirar pays homage to the details of casually curated Mediterranean interiors with their influences of aged formal furniture, the micro-climate combinations of tropical plants and pines, and the passion for all things exotic from carved Spanish vargueño to primitive and sculptural African chairs.

Where it all began. The TR7 is one of the first lamps that Tom Rossau developed, in his continued strive for sculptural illumination. With the familiar birch wood, the lamp draws nature inside, bringing an exquisite warmth to all interiors. The TR7 floor lamp illuminates the room with a soft and evocative glow from the hidden light source. The slim shape of this lamp is ideal for corner placement, which has made it a true winner for architects and interior designers alike. The closed shade of the TR7 encapsulates the light sources and provides an indirect light independent from the choice of the material. The TR7 lamps have a sculptural and organic expression, as much when unlit as when they radiate light.
