But, really my review is just to say that the service side of Perigold cannot be beaten. The team, I have spoken to many - are each the best experience I have had recently with any customer service team - certainly in recent past. Think of the level of service of a small local store from 30-40 years ago. They bend over backwards to make it right. I cannot say enough. This is a gorgeous lamp that is beautifully proportioned. The picture gives a very good representation only the color was even more vibrant in real life. They are beautiful well made lamps. The Ceramic body is truly a gunmetal finish..would have liked a little more iron color in it. Not sure I like the shades...they have definitely strong darker vertical and horizontal short lines that give them a modern look and I am more traditional. I knew that when I ordered. Am really impressed with the selection and quality this company has. I have never seen anything online like it. One thing to know is that packing is really top notch and it took a lot of effort to get lamps out. Now am not sure what to do with the packing materials.
