Meyda Co-Founder Meyer Cohen created this lighting design on the front porch of his summer studio in Old Forge in Upstate New York. The Meyer Lantern was designed with a Honey art glass roof and bottom; with a cornucopia of Blues; Greens; Yellows; and Reds. Today the pendant can be seen adorning camps and vacation homes throughout the Adirondack Mountains. The shade is created using the famous Meyda Tiffany copperfoil construction technique and complemented with a Mahogany Bronze finish. The overall height ranges from 17 to 53 inches; as the chain length can be easily adjusted in the field. The Meyer Lantern Mini Pendant is included in our American-made handcrafted Meyer Lantern Collection. UL and cUL listed for dry and damp locations.

Our veneers are selected to give the best wood grain effects when illuminated and all have been sourced from forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council - FSC. Nothing comes close to the beauty of these veneers as a diffusion material and no other veneer treatment gives the strength and the protection to the material with out sacrificing the delicacy and subtleness that this natural material communicates when illuminated. The 1st Baron Bourchier was born several hundred years too late to enjoy hanging NUT throughout his shadowy castle. Which is a pity, because the granny knot on which NUT is based sat proudly on the heraldic badge of the Bourchier family. We however are fortunate to live in an era when NUT can adorn our own little castles; a powerful symbol of our exquisite breeding. We can thank the brilliant Marivi Calvo and Ray Power for their valor and insight. Long may they reign supreme.

The Honey Locust was popular floral design created by Louis Comfort Tiffany, more than a century ago. Well the lovely pendant lamp for the front porch arrived, and now my electrician can dispense with the tacky monstrosity that has been there for way too long and put my new beautiful Perigold light up in its place. I’m so excited. Looks like real Tiffany, only without the anxiety. New lamps make everything better! My life will feel complete (at least for a few minutes) and my electricians will be so happy that this new light doesn’t weigh much more than five pounds. Taking down the monstrosity will be the worst part of the job, and then it will be smooth sailing all the way! Wish I had many many more beautiful flowery words for this amazing experience, but this time I think I’ll let simplicity and taste speak for themselves, because when all is said and done, they usually do.. All of the product’s photos make the stained glass bowl look yellow, but it’s actually more like white. I have used this piece before a few times. The design is simply beautiful, the quality is sublime. This piece is from Spain, imported...and the packing is unbelievable. the light glows through the wood veneer, making for a striking visual effect. All of there products are pieces of artwork.
