I have used this piece before a few times. The design is simply beautiful, the quality is sublime. This piece is from Spain, imported...and the packing is unbelievable. the light glows through the wood veneer, making for a striking visual effect. All of there products are pieces of artwork. The old southwest comes to light beautifully with curved styling featuring artistic strips of stained glass in Sunrise Yellow, Canyon Brown, Desert Amber, and Dune White. Earthy Brown and Mirage Blue/Green create a garland motif near the bottom. The pendant shade was crafted using Meyda Tiffany's famous copper foil construction. The hardware features a warm Mahogany Bronze.

A Meyda Tiffany original design, the Fleur-de-Lis inverted pendant is an intricate design of Yellow tri-petaled irises and Azure colored jewels against Crimson and Cobalt bands. Reminiscent of castle and cathedral glass, the fleur-de-lis pattern holds a prominent place in French Heraldry. Intricately detailed hardware, hand finished in Mahogany Bronze with Antique Gold accents, cradles a stained glass shade and lighted hub which are hand crafted utilizing the copperfoil construction process.

The pendant is composed of two parallel rectangular wood panels, one set inside the other, creating sinuous, natural curves that produce an effect of solidity and achieve a light elegant structural balance. Attractive, but some disappointments: 1. Label states 4 60 bulbs is max, not 100w. I guess 4x100w was too good to be true. 2. No instructions. I am not a handy person so I'm struggling and will probably have to call in paid help. 3. It seems like the screws to connect to the electrical box in the ceiling are 3" wide in the ceiling but 4" wide on this fixture. Am hoping there's a workaround, but I don't know and I don't remember reading this in the tech specs, although it could be there. On the upside, the product was packed extremely well for shipping..
