I really wanted to love this light because the curves compliment my other fixtures. But I didn't realize that the shades were metal, rather than glass. They block much of the light, except for the downward light. I really wanted more general lighting in my bathroom. Sadly, contractor delays have taken me way past the return deadline, so these will be donated to a local charity.They would work nicely in a powder room, where lighting for applying makeup is not needed.

Advertised as white but be aware they’re a creamy beige/off white. They are really beautiful in person and exactly what I wanted except for the color. If you need an off white beautiful light, this is the one!

Beautiful - delicate looking and looks great above my new vanity (also bought from Wayfair).
