Love this beautiful little stock pot! It heats quickly and evenly. I did stir my sauce pretty regularly, but it did not stick to the bottom of the pan at all. This is just the strainer not a stock pot. It will work in a stock pot. You don’t get a lid or a pot it is just the strainer that is pictured even though it says it is a stock pot. I absolutely love this stone pot. love the shape and how heavy it is. However it is oval shape and the pot doesnt fit the whole burner. It is however very deep so you can make several different types of meals in it without worrying if it will spill over. I have a few pieces of cookware by Mepra, and I was not disappointed in this medium size soup and casserole pot. First off, my other soup pots are quite large whereas this one is the perfect size for cooking for two or even one. It’s extremely well made with a sturdy lid which fits tight and nice large handles for easing carrying. It distributes the heat evenly, and clean up is a breeze with the non-stick surface.
