I love this pot! I got the 6qt. I can double many recipes or not worry about spillage. It could even fit a whole chicken. It’s a nice size, but not overly large to store. This is just the strainer not a stock pot. It will work in a stock pot. You don’t get a lid or a pot it is just the strainer that is pictured even though it says it is a stock pot. I have a few pieces of cookware by Mepra, and I was not disappointed in this medium size soup and casserole pot. First off, my other soup pots are quite large whereas this one is the perfect size for cooking for two or even one. It’s extremely well made with a sturdy lid which fits tight and nice large handles for easing carrying. It distributes the heat evenly, and clean up is a breeze with the non-stick surface.
