I got this stockpot with the steamer pan for blanching vegetables. It did not disappoint. The water heats fast in this pot. I have a cheaper pot and it takes forever to heat water. So easy to clean up. I actually have a whole set that I bought 18 years ago and am still using. They/ still look new so when I was looking for this pot that is why I selected this one. This pot is awesome ! It can cook a small to extra large batch of just about anything. In addition, I use when home canning so I get double use out of it in that manner. If I decide to keep something in in overnight, it easily fits into my frog because of the flat lid. It saves room in my cabinets too due to the flat lid. I own 2 of these now. I’ve used the first one for about 2 years and have had no problems. I do always use soft utensils when stirring so as not to scratch the inside of it. This is expensive for a single pot in my opinion but I was willing to pay the extra because of its size and versatility and the way in which it has held up over several years.
