I decided to send these back when I realized they are not really stay-cool handles. The fine print on the manufacturer's website essentially tells you to always use a pot holder. For this kind of money, and given the high quality of the non-stick finish, they should have put silicone on the handles for handling them. We made the switch to stainless steel pots and pans and we have been very happy with our purchase!
