The Tovolo Silicone Mixing Spoon with Stainless Steel Handle is the everyday spoon for stirring sauces, mixing batters, folding ingredients and serving side dishes. A reinforced nylon core inside the silicone head keeps it from bending, so it holds its shape in thick cookie dough, nut butters, risotto and dense sauces. The flexible silicone surface glides across nonstick, cast iron and stainless steel cookware without scratching, while still contacting the whole pan for even stirring. The head is heat resistant to 600 degrees Fahrenheit and BPA-free. The spoon measures 11.75 inches long with a 2.36 inch wide head, and the sturdy stainless steel handle reaches the bottom of stockpots and mixing bowls. The silicone resists stains and odors from tomato sauce, curry and turmeric, and the spoon is dishwasher safe.
