This is the one for flour, sugar, rice, etc. Holds a good amount and is very sturdy. Same quality as other products in the line. Takes up space, so some other sizes may be more practical than this one. I was able to convert to some smaller sizes and free up space in the pantry by not using as many of this size; only when they were the truly right size. I ordered these because I LOVE the pattern! They're SO pretty, and we were dire for storage containers. My husband initially thought I was silly, but then just admitted to really liking them himself because of how pretty they are! Now, down to the good stuff! In prepping for the Super Bowl, I boiled eggs the night before to make deviled eggs: This included cutting one in half to ensure they were neither under-cooked, or burnt. This container sat overnight in the fridge, opened it the next morning, and the entire fridge didn't hint a peep of an aroma of boiled egg. That alone is more than enough reason for me! Great space saver for storage, but I don't think I'd sous vide for more than a few hours in these bags. The bag puffed up after just an hour or less & I had to press air out manually in the sous vide. Would not do a multi-day (or even full day) cook in these bags.. Colomntns. Sat Apr 04 2026
