I just purchased 2 sets of this Caphalon Cookware as gifts for my daughters. I have owned the same set for over 17 years and it is still going strong! Caphalon sells 2 space saver sets (a lower priced version and this set which is almost double the price). The difference is on the handle of each lid. The lower price version has a rubber handle that is not suitable for use in the oven. The lids on this (higher end) set have metal handles and can be used in the oven. Keep that in mind if you are considering the lower priced set as it is not as versatile. I love to cook and this has been my favorite set of cookware ever! The non stick ceramic lends to not having to use ANY oils/butter -unless called for in the recipe itself. The clean up is FLAWLESS. I absolutely love these pans but for some reason water gets trapped in all the lids between the glass and the metal. I can’t get it out and it’s still there after leaving it out to evaporate overnight. I’ve filed a warranty claim and they are sending me new lids but I feel like it’s a design issue and may happen again. We made the switch to stainless steel pots and pans and we have been very happy with our purchase! I was anxious to make the switch from non stick because I wasn’t sure how cleaning would go but these have been very easy to clean! There’s been a couple times I thought I burnt something on the pans and it would take a lot of work to clean, but it just wiped right off! The pans are very solid and we love the grips on them.
